Additionally, Tracey has spent many years studying microbiology, immunology, anatomy and law. As such, she can quickly review and evaluate medical records with an eye toward legal argument. This makes Tracey an asset in medical malpractice and class action legal teams.

Tracey excels in reading and interpreting scientific publications. She prides herself in being a scientific translator and can read a complex issue and break it down to allow her clients to understand the science supporting any matter. She can also easily understand the methodologies used to evaluate different characteristics of antibody and small molecules. These include methodologies used to determine binding, potency, formulation, function, stability and inhibitory properties. 

 

Tracey is passionate about intellectual property rights and helps clients strategize the best legal approach to ensure the protection of these rights. Although Tracey focuses on details, she is also a big picture person and will consider the best way to achieve her client’s goals.

Tracey is an experienced and engaging educator. She has taught at the post-secondary level for nearly twenty years. She is happy to conduct workshops on a flat fee basis for groups in private companies or public institutions who want to learn more about how best to protect their intellectual property interests. Tracey is an engaging speaker, and she enthusiastically shares her passion for intellectual property with any audience.

Finally, Tracey is highly knowledgeable in patent law. She can contract out to intellectual property litigation teams who may need more support in litigation strategy, research, drafting of expert reports, drafting of pleadings, discovery and cross examination scripts, document review and drafting of factums. Tracey is a part of a wide network of scientists and can use that network to assist in identifying potential supporting and testifying experts in almost any field.
